In late November, Copenhagen Translation attended the annual language industry conference Nordic Translation Industry Forum (NTIF). NTIF is a meeting place for language industry professionals with a regional focus on themes and speakers. This year the conference took place in Malmö and participants came from the Nordic region as well as the Baltics and some East European countries. Topics ranged from the latest developments within machine translation, current general trends transforming the translation business as well as a highly entertaining presentation giving a fresh and controversial perspective on the five Nordic countries, their inhabitants and diverse histories. The programme was combined with lots of networking opportunities resulting in many new contacts within the industry and lots of potential new partners. All in all, a very fruitful conference.
